Over a weekend I built a quick Alexa skill, called Care, to see how voice and serverless tech could handle routine customer-care tasks. Alexa skills leverage machine learning (ML) and AI for natural language understanding (NLU), automated speech recognition (ASR), and text-to-speech (TTS) to interpret user voice commands and improve responses over time.
